When the administration of Kryzhopil community from Vinnytsia region approached us, the task was clear: to create a modern infrastructure for the kindergarten that would provide stable connectivity, full Wi-Fi coverage, and 24/7 video surveillance.
The focus was on children’s safety, staff comfort, and readiness for digitalizing the educational process.
We proposed a combination of two powerful solutions — Ruijie Reyee networking equipment and Reolink surveillance cameras. This enabled the creation of an integrated, cloud-managed ecosystem with full compatibility, high reliability, and ease of maintenance.
Children’s safety and parents’ peace of mind
Challenge: It was necessary to monitor all areas around the clock — entrances, corridors, classrooms, and the yard — to ensure the children’s safety and transparency of the educational process.
Solution: Reolink IP cameras combined with Ruijie infrastructure created a reliable video surveillance system powered by PoE — eliminating extra cables, with centralized control and remote access.
Stable coverage across the entire facility
Challenge: The kindergarten consists of several separate rooms, a yard, and a playground, so a unified Wi-Fi network without disruptions was needed.
Solution: Ruijie indoor and outdoor access points provided seamless coverage, working smoothly both indoors and outside.
Power supply for network equipment
Challenge: Budget constraints and complexity of installing separate power cables for each device.
Solution: PoE+ supported equipment powered access points and cameras through standard network cables, simplifying installation and reducing costs.
Management of all systems
Challenge: The administration lacks dedicated IT specialists, so network and camera management needed to be simple and accessible.
Solution: Ruijie Cloud and Reolink Client allowed management of all equipment from a single interface — no complex settings or technician visits required.
Need for wide-angle and detailed monitoring
Challenge: It was necessary to monitor both large areas (playrooms, common rooms) and specific spots (entrances, classroom corners).
Solution: Reolink Duo cameras with dual lenses provided panoramic views, while fixed-focus models delivered detailed monitoring of key zones.
The Kryzhopil community took an important step by showing that educational technologies can and should be accessible today. This case serves as an example for other communities on how to implement innovations effectively and responsibly — with care for children, staff, and the future.
