D-Link's product range has expanded to include the AC1200 DIR-841 / GF wireless router. The purpose of this router is to be used as a subscriber access device in the networks of regional providers that provide high-speed Internet access, IPTV and IP-telephony via fiber optic communication lines.

The novelty can offer support for simultaneous operation in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. Compatible with 802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11n and 802.11ac standards.

The processor used is RTL8197FH with a clock frequency of 1 GHz. There are four LAN ports 10 / 100BASE-TX, as well as a gigabit optical WAN port 1000BASE-X SFP (through it connects to a fiber optic line).

The design includes four external fixed antennas with a gain of 5 dBi. Thanks to them, you can organize confident Wi-Fi coverage over a large area, for example, in spacious houses, office premises and apartments with a complex layout.

The router equipment includes an integrated firewall. The novelty offers advanced security features that help minimize the effects of hackers, as well as prevent network intrusions and access to unwanted sites for users.

D-Link Assistant, a free mobile application for iOS and Android, helps to configure and manage capabilities. For Internet providers, the built-in client TR-069 is implemented, which allows technical support specialists to remotely check the status of the device, perform software updates, diagnose and fix possible connection problems.

“The device supports any tariff plans up to 1 Gb / s, all current types of IPv4 / IPv6 connections, work with IPTV and Smart TV, organize VPN tunnels and work simultaneously in two frequency bands,” D-Link says.

It will be possible to purchase a novelty at a price of $ 77.
