Cooling compactly: Arctic Freezer 7 X for AMD and Intel processors
An announcement came out from Arctic: the range of tower-type devices will replenish the Freezer 7 X universal processor cooler.
The design consists of an aluminum radiator and two U-shaped heat pipes with a diameter of 6 mm. The latter have direct contact with the processor cover, thereby increasing the efficiency of heat dissipation.
The cooler is only 132.5 mm high. This makes it possible to use it for the assembly of relatively compact computers.
A radiator blows around a 92 mm fan. Its rotation speed can be adjusted in the range from 300 to 2000 rpm (pulse-width modulation method is applied). The fan design is distinguished by the use of a hydrodynamic bearing (FDB).
Overall dimensions of the cooler - 110.5 × 132.5 × 74.3 mm, weight - 425 g. Mentioned compatibility with AMD processors in the performance of AM4 / AM3 (+) / FM2 (+) / FM1, in addition to this - with Intel chips in performance LGA 115x / 775/1200.
The cost of the Arctic Freezer 7 X cooler is expected to reach $ 17.
