The consumer market will replenish with a new product from Kingmax - a PX4480 SSD with PCIe 4.0 interface. Its main purpose is systems based on Ryzen 3000 processors and AMD X570 motherboards, because only with them you can fully reveal the capabilities of the new PCIe 4.0.

The Kingmax PX4480 SSD form factor is M.2 2280. It uses four PCIe 4.0 lanes with the NVMe 1.3 protocol to connect. 500 GB, 1 and 2 TB versions will be available to consumers. According to the manufacturer, the drive is built on 3D NAND memory, but its type does not specify.

The new SSD features features such as sequential read speeds of up to 5000 MB / s and sequential write speeds of up to 4400 MB / s. At the same time, the performance of the drive in operations with random access to memory blocks is not specified.

 Kingmax PX4480 is equipped with an SLC NAND buffer and a DRAM cache. There is support for ECC error correction technology and end-to-end data encryption.
