Resizable mouse? Apple is sure that this is possible
The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has published patent documents for an interesting development by Apple - a mouse-shaped manipulator with a variable shape.
The idea is to create a manipulator that can adapt to the hands of various sizes and grips of different types, for example, claw, finger and palm.
As planned by Apple, special electric drives will be integrated into the mouse with the help of which the upper part of the case will be raised or lowered. By analogy, the side inserts can be moved apart or moved.
In order to avoid cracks during transformation and to ensure the integrity of the entire structure, the surface of the manipulator will most likely consist of body elements overlapping each other.
Thus, according to the idea of the manufacturer, users will have the opportunity to change the shape of the mouse at their discretion, thereby increasing the comfort of work and reducing stress in the hand.
Unfortunately, so far this is only an idea on paper. When such a manipulator appears on the commercial market is unknown.
