The Acer Predator XB273UGS gaming WQHD monitor boasts 1 ms response time
Acer's assortment has replenished with the Predator XB273UGS monitor, which is designed for gaming-grade desktop systems.
The novelty is made on an IPS-type matrix with a diagonal of 27.2 inches. The resolution is 2560 × 1440 pixels, that is, corresponds to the WQHD format.
The panel is characterized by a response time of 1 ms and a refresh rate of 120 Hz (can increase to 165 Hz). Peak brightness is 400 cd / m2. Typical and dynamic contrast ratios are 1,000: 1 and 100,000,000: 1. Horizontal and vertical viewing angles are standard for IPS and reach 178 degrees.
The monitor has a 90 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. The new product uses NVIDIA G-Sync technology, which helps to increase the smoothness of the picture during the game process, as well as to avoid unpleasant artifacts in the image.
The new monitor is equipped with 4 W stereo speakers each. Signal sources can be connected via two HDMI 2.0 connectors and DisplayPort 1.2a interface.
When manufacturing the monitor, the Zero Frame concept was respected: narrow frames surround the screen. Using the stand, you can adjust the tilt and rotation of the display, as well as change its height position relative to the work surface.
Acer Predator XB273UGS priced at 550 euros.
